How it works

From first call to a live site.

You see your site before you pay for it.

  1. We talk.

A call or a visit to your shop. I ask what you do, who calls you, and what you want them to do when they land on your site.

    What I need from you

    A short conversation.

  2. I build you a sample.

Your name, your services, your service area — a real first version you can click through. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

    What I need from you

    Nothing yet.

  3. You decide.

If you like it, we agree the price in writing and you pay half of the setup.

    What I need from you

A yes or a no. Either is fine.

  4. I build the real thing.

I write the words for you to check. You get two rounds of changes before launch.

    What I need from you

Your logo if you have one, photos, and a list of your services. If photos are hard to come by, I can use licensed stock so nothing is held up.

  5. It goes live.

On your own domain, with the security certificate, backups and monitoring in place. You pay the second half.

    What I need from you

Access to your domain, or I help you get one.

  6. I look after it.

Hosting, security updates, backups and up to two small changes a month are covered by the monthly.

    What I need from you

    Tell me when something changes.

You own it

  • Your domain name
  • Your logo
  • Your photos
  • Your words
  • Your customer data

If you ever leave, I move your domain into your own account within ten business days of you asking, and you can ask for a copy of your site's content.

The code and design system underneath stay mine; you are licensed to use them for as long as we work together.
